Faith Forums
“Drop ins” and “regulars” are all welcome to join our Faith Forums, a Sunday morning spiritual study and discussion group, meeting from 9:15-10:15am in the Library, beginning the second Sunday after Labor Day. If our coffee doesn’t wake you up, the conversation certainly will! Topics and facilitators vary throughout the year and can be found on our Events page.
Acts of Faith: A Year with the Book of Acts
For the entire 2017-2018 program year, we’re challenging the whole church to engage with the Acts of the Apostles at some point over the next 10 months. From small groups in homes and Sunday morning bible studies, to short video clips and podcast devotionals, there are opportunities for everyone to dive into this rich and informative text. Visit our “Acts” website here.
Social Justice @ South Church
Jesus was a person of action – and he calls on us to be a people of action in his name. The Social Justice team is an informal group who gather monthly around a particular topic of interest.
Theology on Tap
Theology isn’t only the stuff of dense books and dead theologians – it happens any time we name God at work in the world. Once a month, Theology on Tap gathers at a local establishment to engage in that holy work over a drink – whether alcoholic or not.theologyontapsept2015
