Day of Service Celebrating 11 Years

Sign up for a local mission project of your choice. All
ages welcome! Bring your family and friends. Last year, our
hands-on volunteers numbered 300. From over a dozen project
opportunities, there is a spot suited just for you: serve for
a morning or afternoon, 1 to 4 hours, music, crafts,
painting, raking and baking more. New ideas are welcome and
donations are appreciated. The Day of Service kicks-off with a
continental breakfast and singing before we fan out to
our various project sites. To conclude the experience, we gather
for dinner, fellowship, and reflection. Look for your 5 Minutes
for project descriptions. Sign-ups will begin in October. Let us
honor South Church's long tradition of mission service as we
gather together to work, to serve, and to strengthen our
