SOUTH CHURCH ALL-MEMBER RETREAT

Dreams Of Our Future, October 1-3, 2010

Please join us in the White Mountains next fall for South Church’s second all member retreat, brought to you by the Fourth Century Committee, Board of Christian Education, and the Fellowship Committee. We will be returning to the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Highland Center in Crawford Notch, New Hampshire for a very special weekend filled with a combination of outdoor activities and inspiring discussions to consider the Church’s next century. Because of the popularity of this special location in the fall foliage season, we all need to make our reservations well in advance. To learn more, contact Steve Fink by phone at 978-470-1640 or Stephen.fink@verizon.net (or other team members Doug Bate, Candy Dann and Bill Schroeder). All are welcome to join us at this great kid-and-adult-friendly, handicap-accessible, eco-friendly facility and program. Not sure whether to attend?  Ask someone who went on the ’09 All Member Retreat!

Day of Service

Celebrating 11 Years

Saturday, November 13, 2010

Doing Good Rev. Justin Edwards-South Church 1827-1827

Sign up for a local mission project of your choice. All ages welcome!  Bring your family and friends. Last year, our hands-on volunteers numbered 300. From over a dozen project opportunities, there is a spot suited just for you: serve for a morning or afternoon, 1 to 4 hours, music, crafts, painting, raking and baking more.  New ideas are welcome and donations are appreciated. The Day of Service kicks-off with a continental breakfast and singing before we fan out to our various project sites. To conclude the experience, we gather for dinner, fellowship, and reflection. Look for your 5 Minutes for project descriptions. Sign-ups will begin in October. Let us honor South Church's long tradition of mission service as we gather together to work, to serve, and to strengthen our community.
