Summer Food Drive

Keep Local Kids From Going Hungry This Summer
All kids in Lawrence receive free breakfast and lunch in school with no means testing because the need is so great. Summer puts an extra burden on these families and donations to the
Neighbors in Need food pantry drop way off in the summer- a double whammy. What if we bring the same energy and experience to collecting breakfast and lunch staples
that we do with Thanksgiving dinners?

Buy groceries from the suggested list below, leave them right in the grocery bags (no need for a box) and drop it off here in the church parking lot on Tues. June 6 between 3-7:00 p.m. Like
Thanksgiving, it will be a drive through with volunteers to take the bags from your car. Suggested shopping list here, in the Narthex and in the hallway near the kitchen.

If we can collect almost 300 Thanksgiving dinners, we can do this!

Please contact Amie Hellauer  or Kate Jagger  with questions or to volunteer.
