SJC: Explore Boston’s 1800s Black Community

June 21 @ 12:00 pm 5:30 pm

Join the Social Justice Coalition and friends from South Church on a National Park Ranger guided tour to explore Boston’s Black community in 1800s Beacon Hill. This is a vigorous walk up and down Beacon Hill on cobblestone. We’ll also picnic near the new “Embrace” monument, Boston’s Statue of Liberty, celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. and his wife, Coretta Scott King.

Carpool leaves South Church at noon. Bring a picnic lunch. We’ll return around 5:30pm.
