Lenten Drumming Prayer Practice

Join us for this intergenerational workshop series that invites participants into prayer through rhythm, movement, and shared sound. Grounded in the spirit of the season, this workshop creates space to listen deeply, release what weighs heavy, and awaken gratitude through collective music-making. The workshops will begin by introducing rhythmic building blocks that will then be used to trade and create larger musical ideas. We invite you to explore how a short and simple pattern can deepen our connection to one another and our faith.
No drumming experience is needed, just an open heart and willingness to join the circle. Open to all ages, youth 9 and under with an adult.
This series will run Sundays from 11:30-12:30 on Feb 22, Mar 1, Mar 8, Mar 15, and the group will offer music in worship on Mar 22. We will gather in the chapel on the 3rd floor.
