Happy Vacation Food Delivery

Something special is happening! The Town of Andover is partnering with South Church Social Justice Coalition (SJC) to sponsor Happy Vacation Food for Andover’s 660+ food insecure school children. These children will not have the benefit of free breakfasts and lunches during their vacation which puts an added burden on families having trouble affording sufficient nutritious food. The Town is funding the food and SJC is doing the legwork.

Tote bags of groceries will be handed off to people in their cars at three sites. Some bags will be delivered to homebound families.  Rain or Shine.  Pick up trucks, vans or SUVs will be needed for transportation of tote bags and other supplies.
