Nomad’s Land (1hr 47min), is an Oscar winning film about a woman in her sixties who, after losing everything in the Great Recession, embarks on a journey through the American West, living as a van-dwelling modern-day nomad. We’ll discuss this lifestyle outside conventional society and the nearly invisible disenfranchised Americans who create this community and yearn for dignity through work. Watch the film beforehand on your own (Trailer), then come for discussion and refreshments.
